Definition and Manufacturing Process
Seamless carbon steel pipes are steel pipes made from steel ingots or solid tube blanks that are perforated into capillary tubes and then hot rolled, cold rolled or cold drawn. Its manufacturing process involves no welding, hence the name "seamless."
Seamless carbon steel pipes can be divided into various types according to their manufacturing processes and uses, such as structural seamless steel pipes, low and medium pressure boiler seamless steel pipes, high pressure boiler seamless steel pipes, high pressure fertilizer equipment seamless steel pipes, etc.
Materials and Ingredients
Seamless carbon steel pipes are mainly made of carbon steel, such as 10, 20, 30, 35, 45 and other high-quality carbon structural steels, as well as 16Mn, 5MnV and other low-alloy structural steels. In addition, it can also be made of 40Cr, 30CrMnSi, 45Mn2, 40MnB and other alloy steels.
