Product Details

Cold-rolled plates, the full name of cold-rolled steel plates and coils, are products made from hot-rolled coils as raw materials and rolled at room temperature and below the recrystallization temperature. The purpose of cold rolling is to obtain higher dimensional accuracy and surface finish, while meeting some special performance requirements.


Cold Rolled Plate Process Flow


The process flow of cold rolled plate mainly includes the following steps:


1.Hot rolling preparation: The basic material is hot-rolled steel coil, which requires phosphorus removal, peeling and other treatments to ensure the surface quality during the cold rolling process.

2.Cold rolling forming: hot-rolled steel coils are cold rolled multiple times, usually through multiple inverse cold rolling processes, to achieve the required thickness and surface quality. During the cold rolling process, the steel plate will be rolled multiple times by rollers, gradually becoming thinner, and the surface finish will also be significantly improved.

3.Recrystallization annealing: The cold-rolled steel plate will become brittle due to work hardening, and its plasticity and toughness need to be restored through the recrystallization annealing process. During the annealing process, the steel plate is heated to a certain temperature and held for a period of time to eliminate work hardening and restore the material's properties.

4.Finishing treatment: Planarize, straighten and trim the cold-rolled steel plate to further improve the dimensional accuracy and surface flatness of the product. This step ensures that the quality and appearance of the final product meet requirements.
